  2. If we place a heavy block in a fluid then will there will be any pressure due to the weight of the block below it?
    7 years ago by Suryansh Bhandari
    Ans 1 ->
    Yes any external force here that of the reaction to the block by fluid exerts a pressure on fluid.
    7 years ago by Vishal Mishra
    Ans 2 ->
    You can think of atmosphere also as a kind of block in the sense that it exerts a force on the fluid which in turn creates fluid pressure.
    7 years ago by Vishal Mishra
    Ans 3 ->
    so sir if we were to slice the block and see then the upper part of the block will experience a reaction force due to the solid below it which in turn experiences a free due the fluid particle in contact below it?
    7 years ago by ABHISHEK SHANKAR
    Ans 4 ->
    edit: its not free its force typo mistake

  4. sir what will happen if the tube is closed
    7 years ago by Harshul Singh
    Ans 1 ->
    If the tube is closed and there is no air trapped above the fluid then there will be no pressure due to atmosphere but gauge pressure will act.

  6. SIR AT 7:00 IF ANY ONE OF THE TUBE IS CLOSED WITH VESSEL THEN WILL THE PRESSURES CHANGE?
    8 years ago by KAIKALA RAVI KUMAR
    Ans 1 ->
    No... as once the upper part of tube is filled with atmospheric air at atm pressure there will not be any change in pressure anywhere...
